She was in private practice in Atlanta for 35 years, earning a reputation for compassionate and thorough care. Her interest in the medical applications of cannabis was sparked by witnessing its remarkable healing effects on a family member when conventional treatments failed. Although the state of Georgia does not mandate formal education in medical cannabis, Dr. Murad has proactively completed multiple courses on medical cannabis to ensure she provides the highest standard of care to her patients.
Melanie is certified in both the Business of Cannabis and Budtending by Oaksterdam University, the global leader in cannabis education. She has completed extensive coursework in medical cannabis and possesses in-depth knowledge of cannabis strains and their therapeutic applications. With the skills and experience needed to thrive in a dispensary setting, Melanie is well-equipped to support patients in finding the right treatment options. She is also certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid, allowing her to provide initial support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Passionate about holistic healing, Melanie believes in treating both the body and mind for optimal well-being. In addition to her professional work, she is a committed advocate for cannabis reform.
Vicki earned her undergraduate degree in management at Virginia Tech and her MBA from the University of Georgia. She is an accomplished marketing research professional with over 25 years of experience in consumer research and strategic planning. Most of her career was spent at The Coca-Cola Company, where she worked as a Senior Marketing Research Manager for 15 years and as a Marketing Consultant for 5 years. In addition, she spent 5 years on the research supplier side of the business and became the Managing Director for the Southeast Region of a prominent vendor.
